The name of art that I choose, BoraNera, is inspired by one of the characteristics of my town, a cold Siberian wind that we call 'Bora'. Legends represent the Bora as a witch of the north that is looking for vengeance, because when she arrives, she destroys everything on her passage and the city is in tumult. When she is called 'Bora Chiara' (= Light Bora), she is synonim of beautiful but very cold days, and when her name is 'Bora Scura' (= Dark Bora) or 'Bora Nera' (= Black Bora), she's like a tornado of rain, ice, and clouds, and those are very dangerous and dark days.
Often I'm like the Bora - cold, lonely, a rising storm, caotic ed unstoppable - and this is also my artistic style. As you can see, my works are very dark, cruel and wild, it looks like they're saying 'I'm proud and beautiful, but dont' touch me!'
